Here’s a truth from the driver’s seat: If you can’t read the road ahead, adjust to it in real time!
On my drives, short or long, “road conditions” hit like a perfect leadership metaphor. Advanced driving training drilled it in me: Know your car’s limits and your skills. Spot those curves, potholes, erratic drivers, and sudden weather shifts early to keep steering true.
At work, it’s pure oneness philosophy in action. We tackle organisational rough patches together, adapting as a team to drive real growth. Those jolts? They tighten our grip on purpose, sharpen our direction, and push us to evolve right there in the chaos.
Sadly, too many leaders miss it, eyes closed to the signs. Remember the African proverb: “When the head is too big, it can’t dodge the blows.” Ouch! ????
